We’re pulling no punches with our first event of the roaring ’20s, as we return to Hyde Park Book Club for the third of our Leeds residency dates. Our special guests for this one are Louise Fazackerley and Evrah Rose, plus we’ll have open mic hosted by Matt Abbott.

Those of you who’ve followed the Nymphs & Thugs journey will be no stranger to our first signing, Louise Fazackerley. Louise had ‘The Lolitas’ published by VERVE Poetry Press in December and will be reading material from her new collection, as well as a few classics no doubt.

Wrexham-born Evrah Rose is also on VERVE Poetry Press and is one of the most exciting emerging poets in the UK right now. With work covering subjects such as mental health, gender inequality, sexual abuse, addiction and domestic abuse, Evrah is a powerful voice whose work has been showcased across a range of BBC platforms and elsewhere.
