The sixth of our Insta sessions features Emily Harrison. Emily is a former Saboteur Awards Best Spoken Word Performer. Her full-length poetry collection ‘I Can’t Sleep ’cause My Bed’s On Fire’ is published with Burning Eye Books. Emily lives and teaches in Hackney.

This session was originally due to take place on 2 June, but we postponed it in order to participate in #TheShowMustBePaused and pay our respects to the black community.

These sessions welcome guests to join us for relaxed conversations and performances. They’re broadcast live on our Instagram account from 7.30-8pm (BST) on Tuesdays, and then uploaded to Facebook, YouTube and IGTV shortly afterwards.
