Our 27th weekly Insta session features Nabeela Ahmed. Nabeela is a writer, poet, storyteller and spoken word artist. Her poetry is in three languages: English, Urdu and Pahari. After making a name for herself around Yorkshire, she self-published her book ‘Despite our Differences’ in 2018.

Nabeela was the main feature for Keighley Arts & Film Festival this year, her poetry manuscript was longlisted by Verve Poetry Press, and her work has been published in several anthologies and publications in three languages in England, America, Pakistan and India. She is currently working on her novel, collection of short stories and always her poetry.

This session will be hosted by Matt Abbott. The sessions in general welcome guests to join us for relaxed conversations and performances. They’re broadcast live on our Instagram account from 7.30-8pm (BST) on Tuesdays, and then uploaded to Facebook, YouTube and IGTV shortly afterwards.
