‘Love Is A Battlefield’ is the result of a New Voices commission from Radio 3’s The Verb. It addresses the after-effects of war on the lives of soldiers, and features musical backing from Lee Affen.

‘Bird St.’ is a collection of vivid, visceral and razor-sharp poetry which captures Louise at her best. It hints at kitchen-sink realism whilst also carrying an otherworldly charm to deliver a knock-out blow.

These two albums combine to form Louise’s highly acclaimed ‘Council House Poetry’ show, which was long-listed for Best Spoken Word Show at the 2016 Saboteur Awards.
