Our 28th weekly Insta session features James McDermott. James is a Norfolk-based poet and playwright whose début poetry collection ‘Manatomy‘ was published by Burning Eye Books earlier this year. He was recently shortlisted for Outspoken’s Prize for Poetry 2020 in the Performance Category and long-listed for The Winchester Poetry Prize 2020, judged by Andrew McMillan.

This session will be hosted by Matt Abbott. The sessions in general welcome guests to join us for relaxed conversations and performances. They’re broadcast live on our Instagram account from 7.30-8pm (BST) on Tuesdays, and then uploaded to Facebook, YouTube and IGTV shortly afterwards.
